This conference explores language access in healthcare: where we've been, where we are now, and where we're headed. The theme, "True Language Access: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow," invites presenters and attendees to reflect on the history, current landscape, and future of ensuring every patient can communicate effectively with their healthcare providers.
Yes. The conference will be offered both in-person at Lurie Children's in Chicago and virtually. You'll be able to select your preferred format when registration opens.
Yes. This conference will offer at least 10 hours of accredited CEUs for both days. We are currently seeking accreditation from major certifying bodies (CCHI, NBCMI, RID, and ATA).
Pricing increases as the conference approaches. In-Person starts at $195 (Early Bird), then $210 (Standard, after Apr 16), then $225 (Late, after Jun 16). Virtual starts at $95 (Early Bird), then $105 (Standard), then $115 (Late). In-person registration includes a light lunch and coffee on both days.
The in-person conference will be held in the conference rooms at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, located in the Streeterville neighborhood of downtown Chicago.
Details on recommended hotels and parking options will be shared when registration opens. Lurie Children's is easily accessible by public transit and is near numerous downtown Chicago hotels.
This will be a formal gathering of professionals, therefore we recommend dressing in business casual clothing. On the second day of the conference, we ask that everyone wear their traditional cultural clothing, whatever that may mean to you.
